1. Chorley Tenancy Agreement

All vehicle rentals arranged through Chorley are subject to a detailed Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or vehicle collection. The agreement outlines the applicable terms, conditions, insurance details, charges, and your responsibilities for the specific rental. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

2. Chorley Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Chorley, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old for Chorley rentals (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type, with extra charges applied to drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate to the vehicle category, held for the minimum period set out in the Chorley Hire Agreement. Provide valid identification and proof of address, plus any further documentation requested at collection.

3. Chorley Booking and Payment

  • Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Chorley location. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. 4. Chorley Vehicle Collection and Return

  • Inspect the vehicle carefully when you collect it and report any pre-existing damage to Chorley immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and a Chorley representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as when collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage identified on return will be assessed and charged to you.

5. Chorley Insurance Liability

  • Basic third-party insurance is included with all Chorley rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are outlined in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to reduce your financial responsibility. We recommend that you review these carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount stated in the agreement.

6. Chorley Cancellation and Changes

For Chorley bookings, cancellation and amendment policies vary by booking type and notice period. Please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for the exact terms. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Chorley Prohibitions

You must not use the Chorley rental vehicle for:

  • Any illegal purpose or activity in Chorley. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting to third parties or allowing unauthorised drivers. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Use for purposes for which the vehicle is not intended...

Violating these restrictions in Chorley may result in immediate rental termination and additional charges.

8. Chorley Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Chorley Vehicle Hire Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

9. Applicable Law

These Terms for Chorley are governed by English and Welsh law. Any disputes arising from them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Chorley Terms

Chorley may amend these Terms at any time. Amendments take effect immediately when posted on the Chorley website. Continued use of Chorley services indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
